NovFort sells garage floor tiles in Australia. This page says what our sites tell other companies about your visit, and how to stop us emailing you or have your details removed. There is no cookie banner on our sites, so this page is where we tell you.

The business responsible for your information is NovFort Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (company no. 81276802), Rm S045, 2/F The Capital, 61–65 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It covers both our shop at novfort.com and the Designer at design.novfort.com.

What we keep

The designs you make, so their private links keep working, with the version of our landing page and the ad they started from. If you sign in to keep your designs, we keep your email address with them. If you send the Quote form, we keep your first and last name, email address and postcode with your design, so we can send your quote and hold its price.

When you buy from us

Checkout collects your name, email address, phone number and your delivery and billing addresses, and keeps them with your order so we can deliver it, contact you about it, and keep the records the law requires. If you ordered from the Designer, your order is linked to your design.

Our shop and checkout run on Shopify, which stores your order for us. Payments are handled by Airwallex: your card details go to Airwallex and never reach us. If you pay with Afterpay or Zip, that company handles your payment and its own checks under its own privacy policy. We share your name, address and phone number with the carrier that delivers your order.

Shopify's Google and Meta apps tell Google and Meta when a checkout starts and when an order is paid, with the order's value, so we can tell which ads lead to orders.

Who else hears about your visit

As you use the Designer, it reports what you do to the five companies below — each only what its lines say.

Meta

Facebook and Instagram, where our ads run. It tells us which ads lead to designs and orders.

  • When you reach these steps — landing on the site, starting a design, seeing your first price, opening the Summary, sending the Quote form and opening the link in the quote email — with your design’s reference (the code in its private link), its floor area, the tile model you chose, which version of our landing page you saw and the ad’s campaign tags on the link you arrived by, plus its total price for seeing your first price and opening the Summary.
  • The address of the page you were on (without anything after a “?”), your IP address, your browser’s make, and Meta’s own cookies that recognise your browser and the ad you came from.
  • Once we know your email address, that too — scrambled (hashed) before it leaves our server, so Meta can only match it to an account that already has that address.

Google

Google Analytics, which tells us how visitors move through the Designer and which ads bring them.

  • When you reach these steps — starting a design, finishing the garage’s shape, seeing your first price, applying a pattern, painting tiles, opening the 3D view, adding spare tiles, opening the Summary, downloading the Design Report, sending the Quote form, opening the link in the quote email, pressing Order now and reopening your design from an email — with your design’s reference (the code in its private link), its floor area, the tile model you chose, which version of our landing page you saw and the ad’s campaign tags on the link you arrived by, plus its total price for seeing your first price and opening the Summary.
  • What its own script notes on any page it runs on: the pages you open, your browser and device, and a rough location worked out from your internet (IP) address; also a cookie that recognises your browser. It is loaded once you start a design.

PostHog

Our own analysis of where designs get stuck.

  • When you reach these steps — landing on the site, picking a garage size, starting a design, finishing the garage’s shape, seeing your first price, applying a pattern, painting tiles, opening the 3D view, adding spare tiles, opening the Summary, downloading the Design Report, sending the Quote form, opening the link in the quote email, pressing Order now and reopening your design from an email — with your design’s reference (the code in its private link), its floor area, the tile model you chose, which version of our landing page you saw and the ad’s campaign tags on the link you arrived by, and its total price once it has one.
  • A recording of the pages you use — where you move, click and scroll — with every input field masked, so nothing you type is recorded.
  • What its own script notes on any page it runs on: the pages you open, your browser and device, and a rough location worked out from your internet (IP) address; also a cookie that recognises your browser, which also decides which version of our landing page you see.

Microsoft Clarity

Recordings and heatmaps of how the pages are used.

  • A recording of the pages you use — where you move, click and scroll — with every input field masked, so nothing you type is recorded.
  • What its own script notes on any page it runs on: the pages you open, your browser and device, and a rough location worked out from your internet (IP) address.
  • No steps, and nothing about your design beyond what is on the screen.

Klaviyo

Sends our emails: your quote, a reminder before its price hold ends, and — if you confirm — the occasional offer.

  • Nothing until we know your email address — from the Quote form, or from signing in to keep your designs.
  • Then your email address, your first name if you gave it, and whether you have confirmed your subscription.
  • When you reach these steps — opening the Summary, sending the Quote form, opening the link in the quote email and reopening your design from an email — with your design’s reference (the code in its private link), its floor area, the tile model you chose, which version of our landing page you saw and the ad’s campaign tags on the link you arrived by, and its total price once it has one, and the link itself, so an email can take you back to it.

Session recordings mask everything you type: your name, email address and postcode never appear in them.

Unsubscribing

Sending the Quote form means we’ll email you your design and, once you open the link in that email, the occasional offer. Every offer email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing ends them. The emails about your own quote, and about any order you place, are sent either way, because you asked for them.

Where your information is kept

The companies above, and ours, are based outside Australia, so your information is stored and handled overseas, including in the United States, the European Union and Hong Kong.

Having your data removed

Email contact@novfort.com from the address you used, and we’ll delete your designs and your details, and remove you from Klaviyo. You can ask the same way to see what we hold about you, or to correct it. We keep order records for as long as tax and consumer law require, even after the rest is deleted.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
